After having quite some fun with the typo3 version which my provider fancies (I installed the website of my family about 5 times cause thelogin gave too many error messages) I am trying now to install the latest version of typo3 on one domain. But I have no idea how I can configur the installation directory. Or – the other way round – how to extract the tar archive straight into the httpdocs directory.
